Key Word Sign (KWS) can be used to support individuals with communication difficulties to understand and get their message across to others.



Course description:

This workshop introduces Key Word Sign as a communication strategy. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of using non-verbal communication skills and manual signs for successful communication. The workshop includes a selection of practical, everyday activities for participants to start using Key Word Sign vocabulary.



Who is it for?

The Early Years introductory workshop is recommended for professionals and parents of young children. In it, you will learn and practice a sign vocabulary selected to model language and learning experiences in the early years, including play time, songs, books, and reading.
